Created with contractors in mind, the Fusion FX is the smallest, lightest, and best-balanced gun in its class.
FX stands for Flexible eXchange and points to these innovations:
- RapidSwap™ mix chambers and ProConnect® FX cartridges can easily be swapped out for fast, tool-free maintenance.
- An impingement-mix air-purge system with QuickFlex™ spray technology lets you switch to ClearShot liquid-purge mode by replacing the air piston.
Polyurea vs. Spray Foam Guns
Graco Fusion FX guns apply polyurea or spray foam.
The only difference between the spray foam and polyurea gun models is the mix chamber seal.
- Polyurea mix chambers use a transparent seal designed for longer life at higher temperatures (150 degrees Fahrenheit and above). The transparent seal comes in these sizes: 20, 29 and 34.
- Spray foam mix chambers use a blue seal. The blue seals are available in size 37 and larger.
The Fusion FX gun’s polyurea mix chambers use a new transparent seal designed for longer life at higher temperatures (150°F and above). The harder material of the transparent seals requires a certain installation process and tool that comes with each gun.

Graco FX9001 Fusion FX Gun with Round Mix Chamber
Use the round mix chamber for jobs requiring speed and even coverage over large, open surfaces. Match output needs by choosing between three orifice sizes: 00-01 (0.037 in.), 01 (0.042 in.), or 01-02 (0.047 in.).
